SWEDEN AND UKRAINE. THE VIKINGS (I)

In my days as a Spanish reader at the University of York I made contact with the Department of Scandinavian Languages ​​and one of the researchers gave me to read the book by Johanes Bronsted "the Vikings" where the great runic influence of Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland in the formation of Europe.

At first they were pagans. They worshiped Thor, Hermes, and Valhalla.

 Later they adopted the Christian religion by being baptized en masse through the preaching of Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius. They practiced polygamy. They had patriarchal customs. Many children with many women. Not in vain was it called in ancient times Scandinavia Gentium Office (human nursery). Unfortunately the annals go on one side and politics on the other. The nationalist regime in kyiv abrogates its past. Nothing wants to know about its origins. Ukraine was part of the old Rus (another Scandinavian name) and its Swedish foundation, I know that by defending the Russification of this country, the largest in Europe, I am going against the grain. It matters little to me. I follow the advice of San Agustin “tolle et lege” (get up, drink and read) about which unfortunately my colleagues from the duerno journalism and politicians want nothing to do. They prefer to see the poor Ukrainians plunged into a bloodbath under the yoke of the sinister Zelensky
