Manchester United say that ex-Hull City defender Harry Maguire is co-operating with Greek authorities after an alleged incident on the Greek island of Mykonos.

Reports suggest that the United captain was allegedly involved in an incident involving other English tourists last night.

A Man United spokesperson told the Manchester Evening News: "The club is aware of an alleged incident involving Harry Maguire in Mykonos last night.

“Contact has been made with Harry and he is fully cooperating with the Greek authorities.

"At this time we will be making no further comment."

Maguire and the rest of Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s squad saw their 2019-20 season end on Sunday after United were knocked out of the Europa League’s semi-finals by Spanish side Sevilla, who will face Italian giants Inter Milan this evening in the Europa League final in Portugal.
