Lesson from the book of Ecclesiasticus
Ecclus 39:6-14
The just man will give his heart to resort early to the Lord his Maker, and he will pray in the sight of the Most High. He will open his mouth in prayer, and will ask pardon for his sins. Then, if it pleases the Lord Almighty, He will fill him with the spirit of understanding; and he will pour forth his words of wisdom as showers, and in prayer give thanks to the Lord, Who will direct his knowledge and his counsel, as he meditates upon His mysteries. He will show the wisdom of what he has learned and glory in the Law of the Lord’s covenant. Many will praise his understanding; his fame can never be effaced; unfading will be his memory, through all generations his name will live; peoples will speak of his wisdom, the assembly will sing his praises.

We offer unto Thee, O Lord, the chalice of salvation, beseeching Thy clemency, that it may ascend before Thy divine Majesty, as a sweet savor, for our salvation, and for that of the whole world. Amen.

 EL DIA DE SAN BERNARDO EN EL MONASTERIO DE SANTA MARIA DE SACRAMENIA


Acudo con una oración en los labios que me enseñó un cisterciense escrita por san Bernardo de Claraval:

"sancta Maria, sucurre miseros, fove flebiles, adjuva pusilanimes, interveni pro clero interveni pro devoto femineo sexu sentiant tuum juvamen quicumque celebrant tuam festivitatem. Amen"

y este lugar de la tierra en que nací me explica tres cosas, mi amor a la Virgen Madre, la devoción por los libros, la fraternidad de la tierra y cierta adición por el buen vino. 

Es Castilla la tierra de Berceo, un lugar mágico situado en valle nemoroso tierras altas de frontera que pegan al Duero y a la cordillera carpetana, tierras de frontera las de los aportellados de Fuentidueña la de los arqueros de Sacramenia los escuderos de Valtiendas y los anacoretas y ermitaños de Fuentesoto.

 Aguas arriba del Duratón entre afiladas peñas y gollizos se abrían las cuevas de los eremitorios donde se refugiaron los cristianos visigodos huyendo de la morisma. 

Todavía se pueden contemplar estas moradas trogloditas por los tesos de Cuevas de Provanco y en Fuentesoto, a la vera del río Menia que riega los huertos y la vega, se alzaba la ermita del viejo fundo de san Vicente de Pospozuelo. 

Allí debió de existir una Tebaida parecida a la de los Siete Altares sepulvedanos.

Quedan restos del eremitorio prerrománico y señales de tumbas visigóticas. 

El espíritu cisterciense ha calado en mí al socaire de la devoción a Nuestra Señora, una mezcla del lema benedictino del ora et labora y de la indolencia contemplativa que trata de seguir una regla difícil de convivencia comunal,  el Cister por amor a Cristo renunciaba a todas las cosas del mundo incluso a la privacidad: los hijos de san Bernardo trabajaban juntos, rezaban en común, escribían bajo la mirada del abad copiando (eran excelentes calígrafos) manuscritos en el armorium, bajaban al refectorio a las horas marcadas, y carecían de celdas, dormían en crujías o dormitorios, trabajaban en el campo. comían de la huerta, roturaron la tierra, plantaron viñas. 

A ellos se debe la tradición vitivinícola de Castilla la Vieja. 

San Bernardo trasplantó el veduño borgoñón que arraigo cepas mejores en estos majuelos que las del francés originario. Sólo al morir conocían la propiedad privada del cuadrado de tierra que a todos nos corresponde.

la historia de este monasterio de Sacramenia yo la conozco bien y he escrito largo y tendido sobre estas piedras cuando era corresponsal de la agencia Pyresa en Nueva York. 

El claustro monástico fue comprado por Randolph Hearst y fue desmontado piedra a piedra y reedificado en Nueva York. otra parte fue a parar a Miami.

 Bizarra y azarosoa historia que empieza con la desamortización de Mendizábal y los españoles con nuestras sagradas piedras no sabíamos que hacer. Algunas fueron pignoradas. 

Sin embargo, hay que decir que aquí quedó el rosetón impresionante circulo de piedra que tamiza la luz la pared occidental del templo, donde cantaron los monjes vísperas durante ocho siglos. El monasterio fue erigido a mediados del siglo XII antes que el de Moreruela y el de Veruela en la provincia de Zamora y Soria respectivamente. Actualmente es propiedad privada pero está abierta al público gracias al sponsor un colega y amigo periodista pude visitarlo por dentro- subiendo desde el pueblo a través de un camino flaqueado de encinas y fresnos como unos tres kilómetros uno se enfrenta con una plazoleta cercada por chopos centenarios. un gran mastín manso y blanco animalito sale a recibirnos y nos lame las manos. me quedo casi en éxtasis ante el rosetón y canto la Salve. 

Detrás de la corraliza aparecen las ventanas de las celdas. La iglesia ha sido reedificada con gusto exquisito, me acuerdo que bajé una vez con el abuelo por estos andurriales a la romería que tenía lugar en honor al santo el 20 de agosto. Compramos garrafatiñas y peladillas de Alcalá a los carameleros, bailamos la jota. 

Un gaitero de Peñafiel tocaba la chifla (dulzaina) y entrada la tarde regresamos a casa. Nunca olvidaré aquellas vivencias. en el día del glorioso san Bernardo patrón del Cister y de los monjes templarios. Un templario hospitalario creo que he sido yo en la vida. Diacono para servir y cantar la epístola con voz diaconal.

HOY SAN BERNARDO DIA DE AYUNO PARA MI QUE SOY MONJE DEL CISTER

 SAN BERNARDO CULMINACIÓN DEL VERANO

Día radiante no puedo ir a visitar Muros Sagrados, de Sacramenia, aquel alcor sobre el horizonte ni celebrar las nenias en un siliarcinum. Derramaré mi copa dejando de beber y de fumar. Me acojo al escapulario del beato Claraval al que llamaban el doctor mirifico. Cister es castro, vida regular en comunicad compartida en el refectorio y el dormitorio cantos a la Virgen María a la hora del ocaso. Mis personajes se escapan, no quieren participar en la novela por el momento. Como me recluyeron en Puerta de Hierro pero salí adelante. Creo mismamente hallarme en vías de curación. Las campanas de la Velilla tañen solas pero como está borracho el sacristán hoy no escucharemos el toque de Vísperas, la luz ocaso proyectándose sobre el rosetón arrebol de fulgores, veranos de infancia, viajes en romería subidos al carro con los dos machos de tiro El Cordobés y el Noble. Uno manso y el otro zaíno, le tiró una patada a Paulina que por poco la deja tuerta. El abuelo Benjamín enganchaba al amanecer y bajábamos por las pobedas camino de Pecharromán siguiendo el curso del Río Orbada y pasada la ermita de San Vicente en un lugar que llamábamos las Cuevas de Pospueblo donde había un cenobio visigótico se divisaba el manto blanco de San Bernardo que nos hablaba en latín y en francés. Su testa rapada dejando el cerquillo de la tonsura en la cabeza brillaba bajo el sol de agosto, su gesto era adusto. Sus manos ostentaban un libro abierto y una espada. La grey creyente se expandía con cantos a la Virgen María, antífonas entrañables compuestas por el Doctor Melifluo. Venían a la memoria tiempos de las cruzadas. Victorino el hijo del sacristán subía a tocar las campanas de la espadaña de san Gregorio por aquella escalera de caracol con los peldaños de piedra gastada. Tantas subidas y bajadas a la torre para llamar a misa, tocar a muerto, a gloria o a fuego habían horadado las gradas de roca viva. “Fideles voco, mortuos clango vulnera frango” A los fieles convoco, a los muertos lloro y quiebro el rayo”. Enigmática tarea de las campanas la voz de bronce. En la campa alrededor del monasterio bajo la sombra de una olma centenaria tiraba el abuelo y nos sentábamos a merendar pan, queso y algo de escabeche bonito de cubillo. Bailábamos jotas castellanas, comprábamos almendras garrapiñadas para llevárselas abuela y a la caída del sol de nuevo uncíamos el carro y para casa. Al regresar a Fuentesoto desde Sacramenia una legua hay. Ya lucían las estrellas cuando abríamos la portada y los machos buscaban el arrimo de la cuadra.

EL FIN DEL MUNDO PARA EL AÑO QUE VIENE ¿SORTILEGIO O PROFECÍA?

 

EL BEATO JACOME DI FIORE PROFETIZA EL FIN DEL MUNDO PARA EL 2025

 

EL TIEMPO DEL ESPÍRITU LAS PROFECIAS DE JOAQUIN DE FIORI

Hoy 23 de noviembre la ortodoxia griega celebra la fiesta de San Jorge el Victorioso. Patrón de Moscú y de Cataluña. Fue el que mató al dragón el diablo protector de la iglesia y de la sinagoga.

 Curiosamente estuve estos días escudriñando menologios y martirologios de la mano del gran poeta hispano romano Prudencio de Cesaraugusta (Zaragoza). Parece que el Señor me lleva al abrevadero místico a saciar mi fe, pese a mis pecados pues indigno soy, en las fuentes cristalinas de la verdad, cuando fluyen en torrente las de la mentira y el error y hojeando en mis apuntes acabo de encontrar referencias a la actualidad cotidiana.

 A día de hoy todo va muy deprisa. No soy muy partidario de pronósticos, sospecho de los astrólogos, no creo en agüeros,  me río de la Judiciaria al estilo de Nostradamus, Torres de Villarroel o las predicciones de san Malaquías obispo de Armagh en Irlanda sobre los papas que determinan que el último sería un alemán Joseph Ratzinger que en gloria esté. 

Quien sería destronado por un antipapa (no cito nombres pero tal aserción paréceme una temeridad contumeliosa aunque por sus obras los conoceréis, y no digo más) sin embargo, atisbo que las predicciones de Jacome Di Fiore 1135-1202 son más dignas de consideración. 

Joaquín de la Flor monje calabrés primero franciscano y más tarde abad cisterciense viajó a Tierra Santa y en el Monte Tabor tuvo una visión según la cual la historia de la humanidad siempre en perpetuo cambio y renovación, lo mismo que la iglesia, seguirá las pautas del dogma trinitario.

 El Antiguo Testamento es la Edad del Padre: Israel se sacude el yugo del faraón y entra en la Tierra Prometida donde las fuentes manan leche y miel. De Adán a Jesús se seguirían 44 generaciones. A partir la crucifixión y resurrección accede la Edad del Hijo.

 Los hebreos son expulsados de la Tierra Prometida y condenados a vagar errantes. Jerusalén es arrasada por las legiones de Diocleciano.

 Empieza el reinado del Nuevo testamento y la fundación de la iglesia por san Pablo pero los cristianos también prevaricarían al no cumplir el mandato evangélico que es el de la Amor, la iglesia tradicional también sería destruida los templos convertidos en tabernas o salas de baile y esto está ocurriendo no sólo entre los protestantes sino también los católicos.

A mayor abundamiento de tal augurio ahí tenemos los templos vacíos en España. Al cabo de otras tantas generaciones.

Es el periodo de la Edad Media, la Edad Moderna, la Enciclopedia, la Revolución rusa, las dos guerras mundiales. Paritariamente surgiría el Tiempo del Espíritu el del Gran Consolador, los adelantos tecnológicos, los cambios sociales, el feminismo, llegada del hombre a la luna.

Di Fiore, al igual que san Pablo, con todo y eso, comete un error pues se equivoca cuando establece el final de los tiempos.

Y acierta al pronosticar el advenimiento de la cibernética. 

El cibernauta es el hombre nuevo precisamente lo que estamos viviendo. Quibernesis en griego significa timón, gobierno de la nave.

Otra observación, capaz de helar la sangre a cualquiera, dice que al llegar el apocalipsis el tiempo se acelera. Profunda Verdad.

El buen abad calabrés se pasaba las noches mirando a las estrellas de suerte que cuando entran en conjunción dos planetas clave en la dinámica solar Saturno y Júpiter ocurrirán traumas en la Tierra.

 Dichas conjunciones se producen cada 36 años. El gobierno del timón da vueltas.

 Según fray Jacome en el 2025 entrarán de nuevo en órbita Saturno y Júpiter. Estamos en vísperas, si hemos de creer al sabio místico en puertas de otra gran hecatombe. 

Sin embargo, algunos estudiosos de esta ciencia tan lábil e incierta como la futurología señalan que el Tiempo del Espíritu Santo será de paz y armonía con la vuelta del pueblo de Israel ! Largo nos lo fiais! 

Esa paz del Espíritu no se ve por ninguna parte: guerras. Masacres, matanzas, explosiones, edificios arrasados sin ninguna clemencia en Gaza, niños degollados, gente inocente que sufre.

 Yo esta noche me encomiendo a San Jorge el que mató al dragón pero escéptico repito con los colosenses aquella respuesta que indignó a san Pablo “neque de Spiritu Sanctu audivimus” (no tenemos ni idea de quien pueda ser el espíritu santo”.

 Será seguramente porque el lenguaje de Dios no lo entenderá jamás la humanidad pecador, aunque está ahí gobernando la nave con el timón de la historia. 

Para terminar una reflexión del poeta alemán Holderling: “allí donde está el peligro está también la salvación”.
